I am a Malaysian citizen of Chinese origin, a keen sports player in basketball and badminton, and I can converse in English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese.

My desire is to work in China as a full-time permanent staff in research and development projects in sustainable, renewable, or new energy resources. China is a rapidly developing country, and energy demands are strong. Hence, China has great prospectives in energy resource R&D.; I wish to become a specialist in electromagnetic applications in energy resource R&D;, because electromagnetism is the heart of every applications from electrical, electronics, microwaves, radiofrequency etc.

I am able to use various engineering software packages such as MATLAB, FEMLAB, OPERA 2D, CST Microwave Studio, LabVIEW 8.0, Autodesk Inventor 9 and ProEngineer Wildfire to aid in design and development of products, and I am willing to develop the skills in using similar softwares further. Performing experiments is key to my work, and I can work individually with minimum supervision, able to use measurement instruments such as vector network analyzer, oscilloscopes, and electrical analyzing equipment. I work effectively in a team, in order to achieve the goals of a project, to setup, manufacture and purchase relevant equipment and facilities. Through monthly group meetings and presentations, I have developed good communication, writing and presentation skills.

The "World of work" can have many different interpretations. I think, one way to look at it is that in order to achieve certain goals such as improving ones standard of living, enhance the potential to sustain lives etc, work needs to be done. But not only by one person or one animal, or one plant. Instead, every living thing has to find ways to work together with Respect, Honesty and Charity, in order to sustain and improve living standards for the present and future.
