My name is Firas Jahchan, a canadian citizen currently living in Doha - Qatar. I have spent most of my life, living and studying in Canada but have also lived in Qatar for a prolonged period of time as well as 1 year in Lebanon.

I am well traveled, having seen most of western europe, US, Cuba and a few parts of the middle east and Egypt.

I speak 5 languages: English, French, Arabic, Spanish and Italian and have a love for learning about cultures and languages.



My work goal is to build upon valuable work experience and knowledge commensurate with my skills and abilities through an employment opportunity that would allow me to contribute, learn, grow and reach my potential. I love challenges and am very loyal. It is important for me to love my job and feel and sense of satisfaction and gratification from it, knowing that what i do, contributes in a positive manner the people and environment around me. I think this maybe the reason why i studied social sciences.

It is important for me that my work world is proffessional, organized and one that remains in touch with the fact that we are always working with people and thus must have advanced or mature management. I thrive on learning and empowerment, i take responsibility and ownership for all my work and at times for others' work for the sake of up keeping standards.

In summary i hold a BA in Economics, with excellent communication skills and extensive experience within a multi national work environment. With 4 years experience in the banking sector & 1 year in the Army Service, individual profile can be best described as flexible, analytical, computer literate, creative, and highly motivated. Experienced in operational risk management, process improvement, project management, training as well as customer service and sales at the branch level.
