Hello everyone,



My name is Anne de Bruijn. I've studies English literature (now MA) and European Studies (MA expected summer 2007) at the University of Amsterdam. I have always loved reading and learning about languages. I speak English (English accent), Dutch and my French and German are adequate. 

I have taught at a gymnasium (grammar school) in Amsterdam and I have worked with children and students ever since I was 17. I want to teach English or English Literature in China because I would love to get to know the people, the culture and their language. I also think that English is a very valuable tool for Chinese students in this time of globalisation, especially since China's economy is growing so quickly.

In my personal life, I like to read, dance, go to plays and visit museums. I also love to cook and I write poetry and prose.
