I was born and raised in Runcorn, England along with my 3 brothers and 2 sisters. I believe that coming from such a large family has been incredibly advantageous as I feel I can communicate well and enjoy socialising with people of various ages due to the assortment of ages evident within my own family.
I enjoy playing a multitude of sports and prior to coming to China; I was an active member of football, badminton and tennis clubs, as well as being a regular competitor in local running events. I have maintained my participation in the aforementioned sports since moving to Suzhou and have in fact increased the amount of sporting activities I play in the form of table-tennis and basketball. I am also a keen musician and enjoy writing and playing music on both the guitar and piano.
I am an enthusiastic, loyal and ambitious worker who is incredibly driven and determined to the best job I can possibly do whilst at the same time, always looking to improve upon my existing qualities in order to develop both on a personal and professional level. By attaining my Masters in Education at the age of 21, for which I received the award of distinction, along with my previous working experience, I believe I have already gone some way in proving that I possess such qualities.
I come from a family in which hard work and dedication are held in high regard and I personally have always valued the satisfaction one can only obtain through ¡®the world of work¡¯. Having never been out of employment since I first ventured into the working world at the age of 15, I have and continue to champion this belief and look forward to doing so for many years to come.
