I¡¯m a recent graduate from San Diego State University, majoring in Linguistics and minoring in Chinese with a TESL/TEFL Certificate from SDSU. Because of my academic experience as a Linguistics major with a Chinese minor combined with my TESL/TEFL Certificate from San Diego State University (graduating May 2012), I believe I am a strong candidate for an EFL teaching position at your institution in China. Throughout my college career, I have taken several courses that have led to my completion of the requirements for a TESL/TEFL Certificate from SDSU, which are very applicable to EFL teaching. Not only do I have a relatable education to teaching EFL, but I also have experience in the field.  As far as employment history goes, I have worked at the American Language Institute here at SDSU in both Academic English and Oral Communication for almost a year now. In the future, I aspire to be an excellent, influential ESL/EFL teacher, and I have wish to have the chance to apply my knowledge and experience to help international students improve their English language, as well as to learn more about the field in the process.
