I am an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2014, both from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. 



My professional focus has predominantly been in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, particularly within the insurance and financial services sectors. I completed my articles at Keith Sutcliffe & Associates Incorporated and gained experience in all aspects of commercial litigation as well as drafting and reviewing legal documents. Upon completion of my articles, I joined Malan Scholes Incorporated, a specialized law firm focusing on commercial, mining and environmental law and dispute resolution. I held an associate position in the mining and litigation department and gained experience in representing mining houses in various litigious matters. 



I am fortunate in that I have had exposure to a wide range of legal disciplines at all levels; from arguing matters in Magistrates Courts to being involved in high profile matters in the Constitutional Court and Supreme Court of Appeal. I have assisted with, and have been responsible for, the briefing of Counsel in various commercial disputes and have considerable experience in drafting court papers, urgent and otherwise. I am therefore in a position in which, given a set of circumstances, I am able to appreciate the legal position and anticipate the potential outcomes, both from a substantive and procedural perspective. Nevertheless, I am committed to continuously improving my skills and increasing my value and as such I intend pursuing further formal qualifications.
