Nihaoma hello, my name is Chris McAllister. I would like to one day teach English in China but in the Economic crisis the US is currently in I can not pay for passport, visa, or even schooling, not even able to get a loan to do things. I am currently studying Mandarin on my own, hope to get a good understanding soon. In my spare time I like to go on little adventures like climb a mountain, or go for a walk through town to see if I can find a new place. I listen to and watch all chinese movies, tv shows, and music. I have made many friends online thoughout China, they are supportive of my life goal and all say they will visit me if I teach near them. In my eyes, they are better friends then Americans are. To me when it comes to work, work should always be fun and intresting, if your not able to have fun and not intrested at all in what you do in life, then nothing will be meaningful. I believe that teaching in China for me will be fun because I do have a little bit of a child still in me. I know when to be serrious, but when to have a good time also. I believe even without those certificates I will be a great teacher. To be a good teacher, you have to be knowledgeable in the field you teach, but you also have to have heart and love what you do.
