On May 2015, I achieved Master of Science degree in Economics which concentrates in Financial Econometrics at Texas A&M; University. I got 3.83 out of 4.0 GPA. Through the study, I qualifies my capacity in:
1) Knowledge of Financial analysis and Economics;
2) Econometric analysis in Finance;
3) Statistical and data analysis by tools of R, SAS, Excel,etc
I am currently doing internship as a full-time program analyst at Empire State Development, Division of Economic Analysis and Research. My work includes:
1) Perform Financial Cost-Benefit Analysis to measure the fiscal and economic impacts of business attraction and retention projects in different regions of NYS, and valuate grant and loan plan for the projects;
2) Perform statistical and graphic analysis to work on research projects to track project performance and measure related economic effects.
The work upgrades my:
1) Financial and quantitative analysis capacity, particularly in catching deeper implications;
2) Ability in statistical and data research analysis;
3) Ability in financial modeling/budget(funding) analysis to valuate projects ;
4) Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
5) Ability in both teamwork and independent tasks.
In addition, I have also been doing internship as a journalistic writer at global economic intersection since January 2015, the work promotes my report writing skills to effectively convey ideas and findings.
