I am a final year Master student majoring Economics in Finance from Xiamen University, China and expecting to graduate in June 2016. Prior to my master program, I worked with HSBC Bank Malaysia as Assistant Client Implementation Manager in Cash Management department for approximately one and a half year taking charge of implementing cash management solutions to corporate clients.
In addition, I also had approximately a year experience as an Account Relationship Officer in UOB Bank Malaysia serving the SME clients. My experiences in these 2 roles have enhanced my interest in corporate finance which led to my decision to further study at Xiamen University.
I grow up in a multilingual environment where Mandarin, English, Malay and dialects such as Cantonese and Minnan are widely practised. Thus, communications is not a problem. Besides, as Malaysia is a multiracial country, I am used to accepting the cultural and value differences in different races. In addition, as I meet more friends from different parts of the world in the university, I have learnt to remove my prejudice towards people that are different from us. In addition, being ranked as 12th in the world according to Visa Restrictions Index, holding Malaysian passport allows me to travel to 164 countries and territories with visa-free. This provides convenience to your company to arrange for a short term business trip abroad to me.
I am a positive-minded person and enjoy working out, sketching and also reading in my spare time.
