I am a former architect and aspiring journalist. I would like to work for a Chinese magazine in-order to utilise my skills in design layout, writing, imagination, and my interest in culture.



I am fascinated with Chinese culture and am currently learning Mandarin Chinese.I have visited China several times and have travelled all over Asia, Europe and Australia giving me a global outlook. I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge and an appreciation for different cultures. I enjoy seeking out and experiencing the hidden beauty found in backstreets, country lanes and untamed landscapes.



I bring with me a creative flare, serious work ethic and professionalism gained from a decade spent working in architecture. This is tempered by a fun and outgoing trait that was put to the test teaching Korean children in Seoul for one year.



My long-term career goal is to become a freelance writer and seek the skills and connections to make this a reality.
