I have excellent communication skills in writing and public speaking as well as thousands of hours in the classroom as an instructor.  I know how to take a large volume of complex information and tightly package it in writing or speaking in order to effectively communicate to an audience.   



I have academic, practical, and experiential knowledge of targeting an audience, identifying needs, gathering information through interviews and research then translating it into well-written copy.  My guiding principle in everything going to the public is “Keep it interesting.” I am an editor at heart, and have a keen eye for spotting inaccuracies and drab language.  I understand the importance of tying varying information into a single theme and ruthlessly cutting or reworking what deviates from it. Besides the finer points of writing and presentations, I can identify within existing media greater opportunities for consistent branding through the use of language and logos. 



I have met organizational goals and deadlines working on my own as well as in a team. I know how to manage a team and be a team player.
