    Dear Headteacher,
    Further to your advertisement for Mathematics Teachers I enclose a copy of my curriculum vitae for your
    consideration.
    As you will see from this I can offer comprehensive evidence of relevant and successful teaching and
    educational management experience to support my application in the field of Mathematics/Science Teaching. I
    commenced my teaching carer in 1983 and since then have taken on a number of challenging and responsible
    posts in various educational establishments.
    I would particularly highlight my capabilities to teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. I am also a
    qualified Science teacher and have taught the subject up to and including key Stage 4.Further I have also
    successfully taught Statistics to A level. Periodically I am engaged by Edexcel marking Mathematics scripts at
    all key stages. As can be seen from my previous teaching experience I have also held various Management
    positions ranging from Deputy Head in a small school to Acting Head of Maths in a large Comprehensive. I
    have been successfully assessed, in three different schools, to have passed the threshold standards up to and
    including UP3.I am conversant with the use of mymaths and regularly use it in delivering lessons and setting
    homework. From 2012 to 2014 I was working as a Mathematics instructor in Saudi Arabia.
    I feel that I have much to offer any prospective Employers and I am confident that I could quickly make a
    positive and valued contribution. I trust you find my application to be of interest and would be very pleased to
