The aim of this project is to develop a medical-grade temperature/activity monitor that can monitor thermoregulatory, biomechanical and physiological responses of an individual in real time. The proposed research aims to protect the health of athletes and officials against heat stroke during the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, the second highest cause of fatalities in sport.
