Yangzhou Hospitality Institute (YHI) was established in May 2014 after being approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of China. YHI is an affiliate school of Swiss Hotel Association.

Lausanne Hospitality Consulting (LHC) has designed the academic curriculum, campus layout, faculty training through QLF, and audit of teaching materials of YHI. YHI will follow the educational philosophy of  Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), the oldest and most respected hospitality school in the world, and this association ensures the quality of all the study programs offered.
After successfully completing required courses in three years, the students will get diploma granted by YHI and Swiss Hotel Association.

By integrating the most advanced international vocational hospitality education concepts with practical experiences, Yangzhou Hospitality Institute aims at utilizing globally available educational resources to satisfy the demands set by hospitality industry at home and abroad for competent international tourist hotel personnel with highly prized personality and skill.

   扬州中瑞酒店职业学院是实施专科层次学历教育的新型全日制普通高等学校，是中国唯一的瑞士酒店业协会联盟院校，中国唯一全面引进洛桑模式的高职院校。
学院由中国房地产企业综合实力前10名的富力集团投资举办，是热心教育事业的富力地产董事长张力先生继成功创办北京中瑞酒店管理学院后的又一力作。学院将全球酒店管理教育领域最前沿的瑞士洛桑酒店管理学院、瑞士酒店协会的资源和培养模式引入中国。以“国际化、应用型”为理念，以培养应用型高级专门人才为目标，以酒店管理专业为特色，力争成为中国最好的酒店职业学院、培养基地和认证中心，打造世界一流的酒店管理名校！
学院坐落于扬州邗江区站南路与文汇西路交汇处，占地220亩，建筑面积8.5万平方米，总投资约3亿元。校园环境充分体现“山水校园”的设计理念，拥有一流的硬件设施，可容纳2200名学生学习、生活。学院目前开设酒店管理、餐饮管理与服务、西餐工艺、财务管理、会计等五个专业，于2014年6月招生，学制3年。学生学习期满成绩合格者，将获得由学院颁发的国家认可的大专学历证书及瑞士酒店协会SHA颁发的专科证书。
