To start with, my name is Zacharie Bilenge Mwadi, a Canadian national of African descent working as an ESL teacher at Longdong University in Qing Yang, Gansu province in the People's Republic of China. I hold a BA in Arts with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from the University of Alberta located in West Canada. I am presently in the process of completing my M.Sc. in Applied Psychology with the University of Liverpool, a well-established British University. I am a certified TESOL graduate from AMERICAN TESOL INSITUTE. I specialized in TESOL for Business, TESOL for Children and Advanced TESOL.
I have worked as an ESL instructor in Africa, Thailand and presently work in China. Teaching abroad has helped me sharpen intelligibility of foreign culture and fluidity of the concept "education". I am a very disciplined person and eager to cooperate with colleagues and workmates as a way of socializing with novel environment. I have worked in many places where discrimination against skin color is the norm; however, my exceptional skills have ended up persuading those look down black people that I am at times better than the "ideal race" they always admire. I am ready to work anywhere in China if given chance.
